Earthlings / Ziemianie

'' - Why, Fynn? Why? - She asked, looking for answer in my eyes. I could not answer her. She knelt down and gently touched the few wild flowers that grew in our backyard. Bossy came up and started to rub his mangy head on her leg. Spotty, stretched on the ground, gazed at her with the excitement. Almost an hour I stood there and watched as she explores and touches everything in the few square meters of our garden. Gently, her fingers respectfully moved from the beetle to the flower, from a pebble to the caterpillar. I waited for her to cry, I thought that any moment now she will come running to look for consolation. She did not run. I was not sure what's going on in her head. I only knew that the wound is deep, maybe too deep, so that I could not help her.
- I'm sorry.
She wasn't speaking to me, or even to Mister God. She was talking to the flowers, the earth, the Bossy, the Spotty, the beetles and worms. Humanity was asking the rest of the world for forgiveness.''

''- Dlaczego, Fynn? Dlaczego?
- Przepraszam.
Nie mówiła do mnie, ani nawet do pana Boga. Mówiła do kwiatów, do ziemi, do Ważniaka, do Łatka, do żuków i robaków. Ludzkość prosiła resztę świata o przebaczenie.''

Heaven / Niebo

I always thought that for me it will look like on this photograph.

Questions and answers / Pytania i odpowiedzi

The problem with places like school or church, is that they deal with answers more than with questions. Problems that arise in school and church are extremely large, because of the kind of ''response'' you get there. Of course you could create question to the received reply, but the whole trouble is that such questions often lead nowhere, they guide nowhere, you fall, and fall without end.
''You can ask someone if he likes to play in the tag; it looks like a question and sounds like a question, but  ''you will not fall anywhere from here''. Who thought it's a real question, and that it really leads to something, could ask such questions throughout his life and never come to anything.''

Stereotypes / Stereotypy

Human security is easy. Just accept that mister God is some kind of superman who have not shaved for about half a year, angels are people with wings and cherubs are fat infants with the wings so small that they could not hold a sparrow, let alone thirty kilogram chubby baby. But for me, salvation is possible only by the creative rebellion against security of such images.

Religions / Wyznania

Religion has the least importance for God. Let's put aside the Bible and its stories about the ''chosen  people ''because we said so'' and look at it this way;

We all play the same chord, but we do not know about it. You call your chord C major, and I call the same notes of A minor. I call myself a Christian, and you?

Something tells me that mister God must have great hearing, He knows all the names of the chords. And maybe he do not care too much what name you have accepted, as long as you play.

***

Wyznanie nie ma dla Boga najmniejszego z znaczenia. Odsuńmy na bok Biblię i jej opowieści o ''narodzie wybranym ''bo tak'' i spójrzmy na sprawę w ten sposób;

Ty swój nazywasz C-dur, a ja te same nuty nazywam a-moll. Ja jestem nazywam siebie chrześcijaninem, a ty?

We should not understand God / Nie powinniśmy rozumieć Boga

When you're small you 'understand' mister God. Mister God sits upon the throne, made of gold of course, and has a beard and a crown and everyone around him is singing hymns in races. God is useful. You can ask him for things, he can shoot your enemies with a thunder and knows well how to punish the hooligan from neighbors with warts or something. Mister God is so clear, so useful and usable, that he is like a tool, perhaps the most important of all, but still a tool, and is quite easy to understand. Then you begin to 'understand' Him a little differently, but still you know who he is. Except that while you understand Him, He probably does not understand you. Apparently, He do not understand that you really need to have the new bike! So in the end, your understanding of Him changes again a little bit. But however one person, at any stage, 'understands' mister God, he always makes Him smaller. God is for him one of the many obvious things. So through all your life mister God is throwing off Him all this, piece by piece, until finally, there comes a moment when you admit honestly and willingly, that you do not understand Him. And then you finally allow Him to be as great as He really is - and Aha, here is mister God standing before you and laughing.

***

Ale jakkolwiek by człowiek w którymkolwiek stadium ''rozumiał'' pana Boga, zawsze Go przez to pomniejsza.

Nature / Natura

***

Nature does not know about the philosophy. People's pathetic and ridiculous attempts to understand Nature are commonly called philosophy. The result of such attempts are also considered philosophies. It's like a red beet was trying to reach the cause and consequences of its existence, calling the result of his reflections an eternal and mysterious conflict between Bulb and Leaves, and considered a rain to be the Mysterious Causative Power. I do not waste time guessing what the Nature is.

***
